Scope of Services

Working to further your best interests, we will:

  • Conduct a comprehensive employee benefits evaluation and provide guidance in making recommended changes to optimize the performance of your overall employee benefit program.
  • Complete legislative and regulatory compliance reviews.
  • Evaluate insurance reports that you are provided by your current insurer/administrator to assess their effectiveness (i.e., are the data “actionable” or useful) , which will provide us the ability to identify problem areas and help us to best improve efficiencies within your program. If the reporting is not actionable, then we need to confirm whether your current insurer/administrator can provide such data. If unavailable, then we believe this should be a significant decision-making factor as to whether your organization continues its relationship with them.
  • Aggressively negotiate your contractual terms for all health care management/wellness and insurance-related vendors in order to capture maximum values.
  • Share with you our benefit design recommendations to capture underwriting efficiencies, while concurrently maximizing the insurance protection you offer and minimizing your employee benefit costs.
  • Provide your organization, your employees, and their loved ones, with year-round, proactive account management and professional advocacy.
  • Use our brokerage and consulting expertise to ensure that your organization is utilizing the best health care/health insurance products, services and vendors. As necessary, we will complete a market solicitation effort [value determination of your incumbent insurer(s), administrator/(re)insurer, prescription drug area, disease management, ancillary providers, etc. versus other market options].
  • Design and facilitate an effective communications process to ensure that employees have a sound understanding of your benefits structure, ways in which they can minimize their out-of-pocket costs, and knowledge of the advocacy we can provide them. Also, we will ensure that your employees realize steps they can take to be a positive contributor in assisting your efforts to maintain a high quality, affordable employee benefit program.
  • Conduct short and long-term strategic planning.
  • Evaluate the following health risk management/wellness initiatives to improve your organization's health risk profile, to include:
    1. Health risk assessments, predictive modeling, chronic disease management, and health promotion programs/literature; and,
    2. Employee education, empowerment and engagement possibilities within the health risk management/wellness areas.
